Folks, I have been living in Canada since one and half year and i am preparing docs to submit my PR application. I got married in Feb 2013(outside cananda), my spouse came to cananda in May 2013 and she has been living with me.
i wanted to know whether i can apply for PR for my as well along with mine? or is there any requirement she should stay with me in canada for a certain period?
Looking for some suggestions.

Yes you add her as dependant /spouse in your PR application. There is no such requirement for your spouse. You are good to go.

Second that. Go ahead and file her application as a dependent.
Thanks for your response!.
couple more questions,
- if i add my spouse as dependent applicant will she get PR status as when i get?
- in this case, is it necessary for my spouse to complete language test (IELTS) and submit the proof or is it not required?

-- Yes she will get it as well.

-- No for her. Only principal applicant has to submit original IELTS certificate. Its not needed for spouse.
