QUESTION ON IMMI 5532 (04-2017) E: PART B - Information about the principal applicat

Hi all,

I am trying to fill out this part on IMM 5532 (04-2017), RELATIONSHIP INFORMATION AND SPONSORSHIP EVALUATION.

Part B - INFORMATIN ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT - TO BE FILLED OUT BY THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT:
Question 2: Do you have relatives living in canada? If yes, give their full name, address and relationship to you.

So my wife only have one relative living in canada, that is her grandmother's sister, and they are not really close to each other, they did not even contact in many years already,
do we still need to put her info in this section?

one other thing is that their families are really not close to each other, and even in a pretty bad relationship.
What if i write her grandmother's sister family info and will the immigration department contact them and they will black mouth my wife and ruin our application?

Will the government call them and ask for some info?
or will their statements cause us any trouble if they really black mouth us?
