Question on IGNOU MBA

Friends,

Need your expert guidance on the below,

- Does WES and Immigration Canada recognize IGNOU (Indhira Gandhi Open University) MBA?
- Will I be able to select "Masters degree" option when submitting Express Entry form and get the maximum points?
- I have a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) degree, will I need to get ECA done for that as well or should I just get it done for MBA certificate alone?

You can select 'Masters Degree' in profile, but you will have to back it up with ECA
You need to get both certificates verified to claim points.

No, I am not sure if IGNOU is on the WES list, the page does not state. IGNOU is run by the Indian Central Government. If anyone has done degree from IGNOU, they may know. But thank you for the help.

I am also interested to apply for Canada PR. I have completed MBA (IGNOU, New Delhi) and AMIE (The Institution of Engineers, Kolkatta). Both of them are not listed in the Institute List. Want to check with you whether you got ECA for MBA from IGNOU.

Hi, Yes IGNOU degree is valid and equivalent to Canadian MBA. See below,
