So confused!
We are filling out form IMM-0008 for my partner's application. The section about family members/ dependants has me all confused!
First it says that the section is about your "dependants", which he has none (no kids etc..)
Then it says to list ALL FAMILY MEMBERS!
So which one is it? Do we need to include his parents and siblings? Maybe I'm reading this wrong.. Help!
No. Use the IMM5406 for his family members, even though they are NOT coming with him.

Now, do I list myself (his common law partner) in all of these forms? It says to list your common law partner as a dependant in form IMM-0008... is that legit? Even though I am not his dependant...

If you are the sponsor, your name do not list as his dependent. A dependent in form IMM-0008 is the dependent excluding the sponsor.

Good, so I just leave it blank as i am the sponsor and my wife is the applicant and children are Canadian?
