Question for Vienna Office applicants

Hi guys,

can anyone give me the answer how did you guys received AOR or Passport Request from Vienna Office? By mail, or through the e-mail?
We still didn't hear nothing from the Vienna Office, and our app. was filled in June :'( The only thing we know is that the sponsorship is approved and that the file has been sent to Vienna for proceeding.

We received AOR from Vienna by email around ten days after sponsorship approval.

I received email from Vienna requesting additional doc's. In that email was my Client ID and I used it to check status of my application on eCas. There I saw my AOR.

If your application was filed in June, it is still early to expect anything. We filed in February and passport request wasn't until September. Background checks take a long time. However, it wouldn't hurt to email the office and find out how things are going. My husband did this and they replied right away saying that the background checks were still being conducted.

I'm glad that there is more ppl here with Vienna office. So far, we just filled for sponsorship at Oct. 8. I'm a bit nervous bcs we didn't get any confirmation no. or anything else. I guess they received our app. we have only Fedex conf. that they delivered. :'(
