An Inland applicant has their landing interview in a couple weeks. They have not heard anything on their dependents who are in Jamaica. Any idea when they can expect to hear news? Is it possible to obtain their COPRs at the landing interview? The sponsor plans to pick up the kids and would like to bring the COPRs along if possible.
Accompanying dependents will have their process completed once the principal applicant has landed. Not before. When the PA has landed the Copr for accompanying outside of Canada will be issued my experience took about two or three weeks before my accompanying dependent was issued a Copr.
No they were processed in Jamaica so their Copr will be issued you there once you have completed your landing in Canada. They will send and email down to Jamaica and let them know you and now a permanent resident in Canada. At this time the kids Copr will be printed there. I my case I had to send copy of my daughter's passport pages with a courier return envelope to Trindad. Then Trindad sent back her Copr in the FedEx envelope
