I am an MSc student and I have completed all of my graduate course requirements. I recently got my study permit renewed (valid thru 2021) and I am eligible for on or off campus work under R186(F). I'm currently just working on my thesis research, and I want to know if I am restricted to the 20 hours per week rule that some study permits have.
I am still technically a full time student since my research requires me to enroll in a 12 credit course that is basically just for MSc research.
My first study permit said: "May accept employment....etc... as per R186(F), (V), or (W).
So what changed? I might not be getting a stipend anymore and so I would really like to know which types of jobs I can take to support myself.
