Hi all, my parents are taking a cruise in US this September. They are holding China passports and Canada visitor visa both expiring in January 2020. As far as I know, they have to renew their passport to be able to meet the 6 month rule for US visa (they will apply as well). But do they need to renew their Canada visitor visa or do they just need to bring both new and old passports (with the Canada visa in it) to be able to re-enter Canada after the cruise?

cruise line did not ask for passport/visa yet (and possibly they won't), but thanks for helping.
oh, and I forgot to make it clear that the cruise departs and ends both in US, we are taking flight back to Canada from US.
