Guys im in Humber (transferred from LSBF,thats what I originally got my VISA for), and have finished my 1st Semester, I applied for a study permit extension on 4th of July (online) and am yet to hear back from them. I also heard that there is a strike going on, so the process may be delayed.
What I want to ask is that, my study permit/VISA expire on the 31st August, if I dont get my extension till then, then what? Ive already paid the fees for the next semester.
Thanks in advance

It's alright. You needn't worry (as long as your case really don't have a hell lot of mess), it doesn't take that long. I am wondering what's your case, did you drop a semester while moving to Humber or did you fail in a semester?
nope, im actually a 90%+ student, I was in LSBF before, but it was crap, so left that and got admission at Humber (on the same study permit) my study permit was for a year, and ive just finished my first semester. So I needed to extend it.
*BUMP* so, anyone? is it true that you cant remain in Canada for 90 days after expiration of ones study permit? or do I have to leave as soon as its over?
as upon expiration of your study permit, if you do not extend it or do not apply for work permit (if you are eligible), you status in canada (study) stands cancel and you need to apply for restoration of your status, then visa and so on and believe you me, you don't want to get into such a mess. anyway, all your queries will be resolved from the following link;
