When creating my Expression of interest profile, I did say my spouse would not be accompanying me to Canada. I got ITA now. I want to know if I can change it to I want her to accompany me to Canada after getting ITA as I just found out that sponsoring family takes a long time. Is this going to count asmisrepresentation? Or is it better I decline the ITA and create a new expression of interest profile?
If its not included in your initial profile, then spouse cannot accompany you.
Either sponsorship or new profile including spouse as accompanying is the solution.

The challenge I have is that I am using a representstive for this application and he wants me to update my ITA profile to spouse will be accompanying me to Canada and said everything will be fine but I have been on this forum and read various posts hence i had to share my situation here as I think it might reduce my score or serve as misrepresentation

I did get a score of 484. Adding my spouse would drop my score to 456. (No wes, ielts, or Canadian work experience) I just checked it on the express entry draw calculator.

You can do changes and calculate your new score with your spouse.
Suppose the draw was at 450 and your previous score was 455 ( alone). If your new score with your spouse accompaning you does not drop below 450 it will be fine !
But if in case your new score with your spouse drops below 450 then you need to decline the current ITA and create a fresh application and aim to get a new ITA.
Hi I am in similar situation. Can I add spouse and spouse post ITA ? If I add it will still be above cutoff CRS ....CAN I ADD BOTH SPOUSE AND SPOUSE IELTS SCORE. . ..please reply
