I'm almost done with all the forms and documents to apply my Korean wife for inland spousal sponsorship. I have a area I'm having doubts because it's like it's in a limbo between two status :

I did the IMM 5533 checklist and I'm a bit uncertain about providing proof of relationship. First of all, we dated and visited each other (me going to S.Korea twice in November 2017 and may 2018, she coming 3 months to Canada between December 2017 and march 2018). We got married in Seoul on may 2nd which is recent then we came back to Canada together with her coming on a visitor visa on may 29th. Since this date, we are living together but still at my parents house (I sold my house in april) but we will move together on july 1st. Since I want to send the application by the end of this week, I'm unsure because it either ask for proof of living together, which include a rental agreement, utilities, insurance etc with me and my wife names on it. However, all of this will only start on july 1st. Before then, I have no proof beside a letter from my mother confirming we live together currently.

I want to know if it is ok if I submit the proof documents for july 1st with the application with a letter stating we will be moving together at this date then add more proof as if we aren't living together (this will be 2 different sets of relationship proof). Would that cause some issues with processing as they will surely follow the IMM5533 checklist when I checked we live together but unable to provide proof for the submission date but only on july 1st ?

I'd send in a copy of my joint lease starting in July. I assume you will either file with you July address or try to change the mailing address on your file after you move. You can also draw up some sort of de facto lease with your parents if you want but don't think it's really necessary. Don't overthink this too much. Seems like you have spent quite a lot of time together given your somewhat short long distance relationship.

Thanks! I know my wife since the end of january 2017 so for long-distance relationship proof, it's not a problem. My real problem is that if I follow the checklist to the T, there is no room to prove the long-distance relationship, only proof we are living together.

Let me ask a different question : Is there such a thing as too much proof even if it isn't requested ? I'm really wanting to toss everything we have as proof but wonder if that extra proof will get tossed out or cause issues with the application.

Absolutely. ONLY provide what is specified. IRCC had a huge problem with people providing way too much information, and it got shredded. All this will do is slow down the processing of your applications and others. Don't do it.

Agree. You also run the risk that if you throw everything at them, that one thing may have different dates from or seem to contradict another, which means they will have to write and ask for an explanation, slowing things down etc.

Ok, thank you, I will review the proof of sponsorship I have and try to keep the essential. I guess that writing a letter explaining the housing situation with the intented move date at the new address along with the proof (I have a copy of renter insurance, electricity and rental agreement with our two with our two names on it for july 1st). I will add at the end that if they need further proof, I can provide upon request and keep the extra proof on hand.

You have to remember you are proving marriage not common law. It is also not uncommon to live with parents temporarily.
