Question about PRTD

Hi, I am currently working on the application for a PRTD. I lost my PR card in Canada and have already applied for a card replacement. I will be applying for the PRTD from Europe. I have a question regarding the application form. In question 1.1 "choose option that applies to you":

• Apply for a PRTD because my PR card was lost, stolen or damaged.
• Apply for a PRTD because I do not have a valid PR card.

Since I am applying for a PRTD from Europe, I technically do not have a valid PR card at the moment, even though I lost it in Canada. Which option should I choose in this case? I apologize if it's a silly question, I'm worried that my application will be returned to me if I make a mistake and I won't receive the PRTD in time.

It sounds as though you have not received the replacement PR card, so “Apply for a PRTD because I do not have a valid PR card.”.
