Hi everyone,
I sent my husband's OWP and PR app off about a month ago. If for whatever reason his OWP is denied, would it still take them 4 months for them to tell us? Or how soon do they normally let us know?
Is there any particular reason you are expecting it to be denied? As long as the applicant is currently in status, the OWP applications are very rarely denied. Pretty much the only eligibility requirement is having an inland app in process.

I'm not expecting it to be denied, he is in status and also submitted his PR app. But I wasn't sure about eligibility requirements. Because he used to work and live in the US illegally so I thought maybe that could have an effect. I'm just curious, this whole process is quite nerve wracking.
