Hello Everyone,

I am not sure what I have to enter under this option. I am applying under CEC, so I am not sure what date I should enter here??

Date first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

write down the date wen you completed the relevant studies...your graduation date

I am not sure about this either...

My OH is trade 72.. and in Alberta he do not have to have a qualification for that. He has a qualification from UK but it is not recognised in Canada (he will do an exam as experienced worker to get a certificate).

My point is- the trade does not require to have a certificate to work!!!!!! So I put the date when he started working in this trade (as it is not regulated in UK either)....
I hope we won't be rejected because of this

it should be fine as the trade is not regulated.

Hello

I also have a question about this.

I graduated my trade school about 10 years ago. In August 2013 I got a permit from apprenticeship to work in my trade under
the supervision a journeyperson while i will challenge the exams through Qualification Program.
I received the Red Seal next year. Well I was never an apprentice here so that's I'm confused about that.
I should put August 2013 or june 2014 ??

Thanks if anyone could help me with this
