Hi i am processing my wife's permanent residence from Philippines. she has already done the medical examination and found there was a spot in her lungs (tuberculosis) and was requested for additional examination, Sputum test specifically, which takes 3 months to culture and get the results. after 3 months we got the result and it came out negative which means she doesn't have TB. the weird thing is she was still asked by ST. Luke's medical to undergo medications for 6 months. And i am so confused why take the 3 months if at the end SHE IS STILL REQUIRED TO TAKE MEDICATION EVEN IF IT IS NEGATIVE.
so my real question is if we ask ST. Lukes to submit the results still, where the embassy doctor would check it, would that matter? like if the embassy doctor rejects it, would we need to re-process again from the very start, or would we just get a request to take medications for 6 months.
I want to take a risk and see if the embassy thinks that it is acceptable, cause if it is, then we proceed with the application, while she still takes medication just to be safe. but if the embassy rejects it, i'm afraid that we might have to start a new application again.
i dont know if this makes sense but yeah im hoping for an answer ASAP. thank you guys!!

Hello, I am new here so I hope you are still active in replying to any concerns .. I had ptb history in 2013 and had been on medication for 6 months so I have a scar. I completed my initial medical at st. lukes in june 2020 for sputum and xray.
Sept 2020 - IRCC requesting for aadditional Xray
My question is
if my cuture sputum was all negative and my first x-ray and the second x ray are the same and not spreading including the size and location.
What does that mean? What is the next step?
Thank you and I hope you can assist me regarding my concerns..
