I received a nomination from Ontario along with a work permit support letter that allows me to apply for an LMIA-exempt work permit down the line with my current employer.
Can I use that to qualify for the "qualifying offer of arranged employment" requirement of Express Entry? From what I understand, my job would then be exempt from an LMIA under a federal-provincial agreement.
Is this possible, or am I building castles in the sky?

To get 50 points with a non-LMIA work permit, your employer must be named on the work permit and you must have worked in that job for at least one full year in Canada.

Thanks for the information. Would that full year include implied status from the date I applied for the current work permit (a one-year PGWP), similar to how you count it for CEC eligibility?
Edit: it needs to be one year on the closed work permit, doesn't it...

Wrong information. Not on the closed Permit... the requirement is that.. you must have had up to 1 year work experience with the employer on your current work Permit.
Meaning... you should have worked for one year with the same employer named on this your Permit.
