On the immigration forms it asks if I've lived with my spouse and if so, for how long. Before we got married my husband and I spent a week in California in early September, left and came to Canada together until mid October. I went back to California for two weeks while he did military work, then he flew to California for around a week to get married near Halloween before we immediately left to Canada where I stayed with him from end of October until early January (I'm still here but leaving on the 9th to spend a couple months in California alone while he works and gets a new apartment set up before my return). Would any of this count as living together? How long would I write down I was living with him if it counts?

The answer to the question can be either yes or no, either "No, we haven't lived together except the 2 weeks here and 2 weeks there", or it can be yes, and timelines provided. As one immigration lawyer told me once, the truth can be presented in several ways, think which one is going to work in your favor.
