I was on the main IELTS website and they have a transcript with the sample listening test. Surely you don't get this on test day. Also are you allowed to listen to the audio more then once? I like to listen to everything first then look at questions and listen 2nd time around.

There is no second time during an actual exam. Recording will only be played once. Also, there is no transcript given at all. Only a question paper with enough space for you to write down your answers. Also, you have to write down your answers quickly as the listening keeps playing etc
You need to simulate/mimic real like exam situation, listen to the recordings in open loud speakers etc that will tune your ears more etc
