Question about Implied Status and FSW

I have a study and off campus work permit valid until sept 2013. I am planning to apply for the PR under FSW program by july 2013.

My question is if that means my off campus work permit will be valid until a decision is made on my PR application (i.e implied status)?

No, an FSW application doesn't give implied status at all. You must either submit another work permit application, change your status to visitor or leave Canada when your current permit expires.
