I have been recently tasked with a research project, to measure the benefits of immigration for Canada and what does immigration bring economically and culturally. I am presently working on a GAP analysis and I need to find information about Immigration Consultants. When are their services used? In the country of origin? In Canada? For Citizenship? For Family Reunification?

Could please help me with any information you might have, personal experience or any other information that might help better understand when are immigration consultants used?

I did visit multiple immigration websites however I wasn't able to get a good understanding of how and when to use an immigration consultants.
