It asks for my husband (PA’s) current status, and it says from what date to what date
Originally when I filled it out I put current status as visitor and put from 2020-03-24, the day when his work permit expired and he became a visitor. However, since then he has gone back and forth between being a valid visitor and being on implied status. His latest visitors record was issued March 31st 2021. Should I put this date?
OR the last date which he entered Canada (2019-03-31)
OR The first day he entered Canada (2019-02-05) (he only left for an hour to get his work permit)
In the complete guide it just says put the dates you have been living in your current country of residence. Technically he has been living with me here since 2019-02-05

You can check with others but my suggestion would be to put from the date he entered Canada and has been residing continuously (the first date, i.e. not the date on which he re-entered after a one hour exit). THEN: add a letter of explanation with as much detail as possible (i.e. dates and circumstances/status) in tabular format.
I'm not certain that this is the 'correct' approach (i.e. whether they really do want from most recent status-date) but if you include all this information and what approach you have taken, they should accept and use the information.
