Hello all, does anyone know if a "certified true copy" must be submitted if the original document has already been provided in the application package?
Im asking because even though the following is written on CIC's guide: ...
"Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document."
I'm certain I read somewhere that it is not necessary to give a "certified true copy" if the original document is supplied in the package, though I'd like to double check with this community.
After all wouldn't it be redundant to give a true copy + the original document?
As always, all help is very much appreciated,
thanks
