I am currently working in Canada with an Open Work Permit. Earlier for 9 months I worked for Company A and then took another job in Company B for the next 3 months. I have almost completed a year of work experience in Canada. NOC is the same for both companies. Below is my query:-
1) Will my work experience of 1 year in Canada count in this scenario (as I worked for 2 companies during this term)?
2) Previously before coming to Canada I had 3.5 years of work experience in a different NOC. For Canadian Experience Class (CEC) should I base my Primary Occupation on the previous experience or the 1 year experience obtained in Canada?
Any help or suggestions provided to this query would be appreciated.
Your primary occupation should be the job you’re claiming the points for. The one with the Canadian work experience. Would this considerably reduce my points? If I go with this option will they consider or ignore my international work experience (3.5 years)? Just asking to confirm if my CRS points would remain the same as per CRS Calculator.
You can combine both jobs as long as the NOC is eligible under CEC and you have at least one full year experience if full time etc Yes, its a full-time job with 40 hrs/week schedule.
You can still claim points for your foreign work experience so include it. Just make sure you can prove it with the job letter with the description etc.

There is also a question under "Intended work in Canada" ---> Does <MY NAME> have a job offer in Canada? Since my work permit is not under LMIA and is an Open Work Permit (PGWP) should the answer be NO ? or YES? I don't think YES but I do have the job offer letter from the employer.

That question is always a little bit tricky. If you already work for the employer in Canada through your open work permit then answer NO even if they gave you a job letter after or before you got hired.
Only answer YES if before you got hired your employer carrried out an LMIA so a labour market impact assessment which they would have had to advertise the job and only give it to you if they cannot find someone with the same skills in Canada to hire.
The employer in that situation will usually also be named on your visa and you usually can only work for just that employer as it will be a closed work permit. If none of that happened in your case, although you’re working with the employer but you won’t have had a job offer backed by an LMIA so choose No so you don’t get any points for that.

The answer would be no. Since you are on an open work permit, then you would need an LMIA to be able to claim to have a valid offer of future employment.
