Hi everyone. I hope everyone is safe. I have a question regarding PGWP. I finished my studies recently and I'm waiting for my final transcript. I know we can start working after applying for PGWP only if you have a valid study permit. In my case, my study permit got expired in July (i applied for extension in May but no update). So right now I'm on implied status. I'm confused about the work thing whether I can work or not on implied status. Tried calling IRCC but unable to get in touch with an agent.
Any idea guys?
Unfortunately no. You can apply for PGWP no problem when waiting for study permit extension but you are not allowed to work.

Thanks for replying. If i'm on implied status i'm not allowed to work?. Talking about study permit extension.

Right, if you apply for PGWP with valid study permit you would be allowed to work after submitting the application. But in your case since you are waiting for study permit extension, you can't start working until your PGWP is approved.
