I already have a student Visa to Canada and will start my studies in March. I should also be in a position to submit my EE profile in March. I have two queries regarding the same (Assuming I get the ITA), if someone has come across similar issues kindly advice:-
1. I already have the medical test done for Student Visa in September 2015, will I need a different test done for PR?
2. I will be in Canada most probably when I get the ITA (If all goes well), shall I try to get the PCC from India right now? How long is the PCC from India valid?

1. No, you can use your medical test. They need it valid upon landing.
2. Get PCC from india (ask fellows about where exactly as it depends on your residence there). Once you leave india and THEN get the PCC, it becomes valid as long as you never visit India.

I was actually thinking of applying for PCC right away while in India. Wanted to know how long that will be valid. Please share if you have any idea. I do know the process of getting it done.

1. In all likelihood, you will need a new medical. Medicals must still be valid for six months when you apply, and that will no longer be the case after March in your situation. So unless you receive an ITA and apply before your current medical reaches the six month threshold, you must get a new one. But do this as close as possible to submitting your application.
