Hi
i have applied to univ of saskatchewan and memorial university of newfoundland for bachelor of engineering-elecrtrical engineering.I am an international student i took ielts test on 13th feb i got results today my overall band is 6.5(l-7,r-6.5,w-6,s,5.5) my band is acceptable or not because in speaking i got only 5.5 so for it shall i have to give ielts once again. I want to know to send these scores directly to university from my test centre and all other supporting documents should be sent by airmail or by email.

university website states they require overall band of 6.5 and doesn't states any minimum individual bands
your overall score is acceptable, I think university of newfoundland want no less than 6 in reading and writing module but i am not sure, u can ask them about it,,

I am going for bachelor of engineering at memorial university of newfoundland; about to apply my visa. My IELTS certificate is going to expire before my course starts and I have emailed to Jennifer Williams; Williams, Jennifer <jnoseworthy@mun.ca>; and discussed with her. Within a day she replied me positively. So, I think you should contact her. Why the way which course you are going for and where you are from in India?

Uni of Saskatchewan has a list of international colleges/unis for whom IELTS is not required so u should check them out first.
Memorial too accepts English Proficiency certificates so if ur institute provides one then u will b saved from given IELTS again.

Do not forget about VO . They can refuse SP if they consider that your English is not good enough or because you did not take IELTS.

Hmm, u have a point but even i have a 6.5 band score with 5.5 in writing. Any ways nothing wrong in giving it again if u have time and money.
