Had few clarifications on PR Card. After getting my PR confirmation We moved from US to Canada thru land border and as this was a permanent move the Immigration officer after completing the formalities said that wey are now permanent resentence and that we will receive our PR cards via mail. meanwhile for any any land border travel between Canada and US we can use the CoPR attached to our passport. However i now have few questions
1) In this case i did not pay for any postal service so how is this taken care of , Do i need to make any payments ?
2) how do i track the PR card application .
3) Also my COPR expiry date is Mar'22 , if we dont get our PR card by then can we use the COPR for travel thru land ?
4) If i have a change in address how do i indicate the authorities ?

1) When you show your COPR for landing formally, you will have to give them a Canadian address for the Canadian government to send your first PR card. If not, you have 6 months to do so for free. After that you will have to pay extra money (online) to get the PR card.
2) Normally you can check it using your ecas account online
3) Yes, you can use the used COPR for land border re-entries on foot or by private vehicle
4) Depends.

1) No additional charge.
2) You can try websites but I didn't find that useful.
3) COPR expiry is for using it to become a PR - as evidence that you became a PR on [date], it does not expire.
4) Website/webmail. Really don't recommend doing it before you get your PR card in post.
