Query regarding application processing period

Hi.
I've a small query regarding Canadian immigration under Federal Skilled worker program. After applying the case, it should normally take about 1-1.5 yr to get the landing in Canada. My query is, if I gain some work experience and qualify a french language certificate during the application processing period, would that be counted in my case/application and improve the point score ?
