Query on PCC

Hi, I am living in UK for the past 6 months , As per the revised guidelines on PCC, Can I get the police certificate only for the 6 months Which I spent here? Or Should I need to get the one for all the previous address history in INDIA from UK. Please correct me if I am wrong

if you ever spent more than 6 months in a row in India after 18, then you need a PCC from India

.. If in case, for the past 2 years ... 1 year lived in one location and another year lived in different location in India.. For this scenario Do I need to get two PCC from India? Also, In the same location if we shifted two different streets for more than 6 months? Do we need get 2 PCC in this case.. Please advise
