Hi!!
I am from India and already have Visitor Visa (10 yrs Multiple) for Canada. I had visited to Canada on 27-Dec-2017 with my Husband. I came back on 24-Jan-2018 but my husband decided to stay there and try for LMIA. After this he applied for Extension on 24-June-18 and got visa extension till 25-Nov-18. He also got CLASS-1 Truck Driver License from Winnipeg in July 2017. But after 25-nov-18 he did not apply for extension again, because he tried a lot for LMIA but didn't get that. So,finally he applied for refugee over there.
Now, I want to know that if i will come to Canada then Will i have to face any immigration problem? Will they ask me about my husband? Will they allow me to enter Canada? Because Now, my husband's status is refugee.
And, Is it possible to apply for LMIA after applied for Refugee? Someone told to my husband that if he got LMIA then his refugee case will get closed..
Please help..
Thanks &Regards

What was the basis of his refugee claim? His failed attempts to get an approved LMIA?
Hope your husband is aware that if his only intention is to prolong his stay then sooner or later he will be asked to leave the country/even face deportation.

Your TRV has most likely been cancelled after your husband applied for asylum
if your husband has already worked in Canada and successfully received a few work permits, his application for refugee based on no getting an LMIA will be flatly refused.
Thanks for your reply!
You mean now my visa has cancelled and i can’t clear my immigration. Is there any solution, which could get it clear?

You may want to confirm with your local visa office if your TRV is still valid before you travel
From which visa office, we can confirm? Because We have only travel agent’s offices nearby us. Can we check this online?

You cannot check online nor can travel agents help you. You need to email the IRCC visa office that is responsible for processing your visa
Please give me email id of IRCC visa office
Whoever gave your husband the advice to claim asylum did you guys really mislead you.
Please give me email id of IRCC visa office
Where do you live (city/state)?
Lawyer gave this advice. My husband lives in edmonton & i am in india. And i really wants to come..

That was terrible advice.
Which city/state in India? Or else you can Google to find the email address for your local visa office
Jalandhar/Punjab..
In these days, what is the waiting time for first hearing of refugee case
Unfortunately there are unethical lawyers that are interested in getting paid versus the future of their clients. Getting approved asylum claim from India is very rare. This doesn't seem like a case where risk of persecution is involved and an attempted relocation to another part India was attempted. This seems like an attempt after immigration failure.
Hi anyone have any information how to represent this kind of problem with immigration . My friend want to apply for visitor visa of his parents. One problem is that when he applied for pr of Canada and at that time in additional family declaration form he mentioned the date of birth of his mother different than her passport. Now how we can correct that mistake.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks
