I am an international student, currently residing in Montreal. My wife have accompanied me during my stay, her visa status is Open Work Permit. Now I want to apply for the Quebec health insurance RAMQ. On searching on their website it was stated that:
"To qualify for Québec health insurance as a temporary worker, you must hold a specific work permit valid for more than 6 months."
Does this specific work permit includes Open Work Permit as well?
If yes then let me know the procedure and documents so that I can start initiating my wife's Health Insurance.

Is she working?
No but she is looking for a job.
No but she is looking for a job.
You’ll have to check with RAMQ. Thought you needed proof of a job to apply for RAMQ but couldn’t find exact details for spouses of students.
