Quarantine plan for fully vaccinated students

if so , can I make two hotel bookings , for example August 21 to August 23 and then August 23 to September 5 .. such that if I am exempt , I can cancel the second booking

wouldn’t it be better(economically) if you quarantine at an AirBNB

How's the line in Toronto ? I heard people are waiting for hours to get out of the plane and even more waiting down the line.

I arrived at around 12:30 pm noon and the lines were not bad at all. I think I was done with customs, immigration, getting my luggages, rechecking them and chilling in the Maple lounge by 3pm .

Yes, I heard about this too in the FB groups and was very worried, but I think I got lucky. It probably depends on the time of arrival as well.

Not sure. There was a dedicated line for students though, but I was asked by the officers to join the regular queue as I had my family with me. The students queue was LONG!!!!

If I mention that I would quarantine in a friend's house (in a room with attached bathroom), can I also mention that the same friend would also come to pick me up at the airport ?

If I mention that the people staying in the same house which is quarantine location different from the friend who would be transporting me from airport to another friend's home ?

I have a flight from Mexico to Montreal with a stopover in Toronto, from what I understand since Toronto is my first POE I will receive my study permit and go through immigration there, but on the app should I enter Toronto as my arrival airport in canada ? My quarantine plan is for Montreal so I’m confused on what is to Be done as I cant find anything on the IRCC website nor anything on the internet

Do you know if I would have to make another entry into ArriveCAN prior to boarding my flight to Montreal ? Or will the first receipt of my flight from Mexico to Toronto suffice ?
