Hi I am going to Canada soon.

I will start my new life here in Ottawa, I have few friends but I can't visit them after arrival due to quarantine.

What is the best way to quarantine for a new comer in Canada?

Is it possible to rent a house to quarantine or stay at a hotel?

Current requirement is that you need to have negative test result, and to stay in a government authorized hotels for 3 days.
Then continue your quaratine for 11 - 14 days depending on your final destination's regulation.

Airbnb or hotel would probably best for the rest of your quarantine plus weeks until you find a more permanent rental. The airbnb must be your own unit so studio or one bedroom. Although you are interested in remaining in Ottawa I wouldn't limit yourself and apply to jobs throughout Canada to get the best opportunity especially during these tough economic times. Until you find a job I would not commit to a longterm rental.
