I and my partner have applied for a Congugal Sponsership last year in 2020. My partner is a PR holder in Canada and I am in India, our application was received by the high Commission on August 10, 2020. Since then I am through with medical, police certificate clearance, background check and recently I received the letter where I am eligible to obtain pre-arrival services to prepare for our new life in Canada.

Due to Covid our application time have exceeded way to much, I was wondering that after receiving the pre arrival letter- how much time should be estimated for the final decision to come? Also, is there anything else that we should be worried about?

It's hard to say because the pre-arrival letter is sent fairly automatically and doesn't mean the application processing is finished or that the application is approved. Hopefully you will hear something in the next 1-3 months regarding the final decision on your application. Unfortunately very hard to say right now due to COVID.
