Hi All,
I am starting this thread to be able to share our experience regarding process and processing time of our QSW application, let it be Quebec part or Federal part.
I have cleared interview on 7th Feb 2011 and sent my application(1.PP 2. RPRF 3.MR) to NDVO (federal part) on June and received Federal file no on 24th June 2011.
After sending all necessary documents, the RPRF encashed on 27th Aug and NDVO sent me receipt of it on 10th Sept 2011 and since then I am waiting for my PP.
my address disappeared on 19th dec 2011 and reappeared on 6th Jan 2012 on eCAS and my current status is 2 line as:
-We received your application for permanent residence on June 20, 2011.
-Medical results have been received.

If you are QSW from NDVO please share your details so that we get to know where we stand, thanks

Thanks for creating this thread it was infact needed.

welcome quebec2011.
anyone else?

Dear saied,

Why did they keep your passport for such a long time? Aren't they doing the security check before issuing the Medicals?

Thanks

NDVO asked me to send the passport, i dont know whyyyyy :(

Indeed a needed on :) Thanks

Thats really a long wait after Interview :(. Usually it does not take more than 3-6 months after the interview they say.
How many visa's were stamped in your passport. what i head was if u r passport has no visa's stamped it would be quicker, If the Police and medical's are cleared.

Thanks

Helo Saied,

Can you please share? How BIQ evaluated your French Credential.. As per the new rule (16/25 rule) or as per the old rule? or do you have the marks above 16 in all section of Delf.

Thanks

yes, I had to get PCC from 2 different countries, I think this is the reason why my case is taking longer than usual.

welcome, but I can see that you have received your AOR on 10/10/2011 which is before 05/12/2011, so you need not be worried, im sure they will consider your file as per old rule, i.e u need not submit language certificate

Hello Saied,

I have already submitted DELF A2. But, I am worried that whether they will calculated my score as per 16/25 rule. As quebec2011 has informed, that even though he has applied in October 2010, BIQ has assessed his DELF B1 according to new rule (16/25 rule). That's why, I am worried. :(
