Hello I need some advice on my spouse sponsorship immigration
I'm a canadian citizen, and i married my lovely wife a year ago, and she's the one who i'm sponsoring.
She entered canada as visitor, after about 3months, we applied for permanent resident, which will be processed outside of canada. But she overstayed here
about 7months. While her application was being processed, she overstayed, but Confirmation of Permanent Resident was granted out in
South Korea. She didn't get any deportation order, so she left canada on her own. So my final question is Will she be okay on her Landing in canada??? or is there high chance
she will be rejected for her entrance to canada.
BTW is there anyway to check if her name is on deportation order list???
i know... but you gotta understand where i am coming from... the more ppl that abuse the spousal visit visa's the higher the refusal rate to them, and its already very close to 100% refusal rate...
As long as she didn't get any deportation order, then not much to worry about...
She will be fine on her landing. They never caught her for overstaying so they probably have no idea that she did and will never find out. You see, they don't do exit checks so they most likely have no idea when she left.

By removing herself, your wife corrected her overstay voluntarily. As long as there was no communication between her and CBSA regarding the over-stay, or between her and the visa office in SK before they issued her COPR, she should be fine for coming back to Canada to land as a PR.
I agree with you re the overstay. However as it relates to exit checks - my qn is - if your passport was stamped with date to leave Canada are you saying when youre leaving they don't take a re cord of the date you actually leave
