Hey, Im Dominik and I'm starting with filling papers to sponsoring. Im person being sponsored. Its a common law application, no kids etc, only me and my partner. I know it'a a lot of questions about it on this forum so I will asking here for every my problems, it will save you from spam

So I have a problem with one thing rn. Im filling document 0008 and idk what to do with my current status. My visitor visa was to Dec 31 but before this I sent papers for new visitor record and Im on implied status now. Its asking me from which date to which date my status is. my status was end Dec 31 but i cant give them date when i sent papers about visitor record cause official date is when i will have the answer(probably april cause rn its 4 months to get visitor record) But we will have year in February living together and we wanna send papers end of february. Any idea about this?

and maybe second question. I asked certified lawyer and she told me we can saying we are common law because 1year is only for immigration stuff, generally you are common law after 6 months living together like for taxes etc. So when i sent my application for another visitor record i said im in common law from september because we living together from February 2019. but Rn im reading guide for sponsoring and it saying again its minimum 1 year. Should I put september 2019 or still be "single" formally for them?

Put the date you sign the form and explain on a separate sheet.

Stupid lawyer, don't go back to her. You are still legally single until 1 full year of continuous cohabitation. You should include a letter of explanation in your app about that, as they do look at previous apps.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking, I will give them letter of explanation. It's not big mistake cause I have all proof to show we living year etc.

But about this dates I'm thinking about not giving visitor status but "other" and then I can give explanation I'm on implied status. Because if it's visitor you just proof dates but if it's other then you must say what "other means" so I'm thing it's the best option?

You can do that or it's fine to put visitor and include an LOE.

Hey so I have a question. We have big problem with proog of living together. Like I have a lot of papers but my sponsor do not. The only thing is contract with place what we renting and we can proof we paying same rent so same person every month. we don't wanted doing sponsoring but my situation was change and we wanna do this now.

So we can change it now, like address In bank, in mobile service but all of it will be from 2020(january and february) but we will have nothing from 2019. If that will be enough proof from last 2 months or we need do something more. Any ideas?

You need address proofs in both or individual names for at least one year. 2 months won't be enough.

I know and we are screwed now. Cause we didn't plan doing sponsoring till December. So the only official proof is our contract for our place and his statement he paying rent to our landlord every month. But it's not enough. And address on Amazon and from vet clinic cause we fixed our cat. But non of it is strong, nothing from government etc. The only thing is this statement with sign from bank
