PWGP/BOWP application

Hi!

I have a few questions.
I am currently on a PGWP and applied for PR (CEC) Sept 22. I applied as a principal applicant and added my Common law partner (Who lives in Spain) onto my application.

So my PGWP expires end of December 18".

My question is, should i apply for a PGWP or a BOWP until i wait for my PR to be processed?
Also, if i apply can my common law partner be under my application so he gets an open work permit as well or does that not work like that?

Also if i receive my PGWP/BOWP can i still leave the country and come back and ensure that my PR application will not be disrupted?

U need to apply for BOWP.
Once it’s approved your partner too
Can apply for spouse open work permit.

Yes with Bowp u can leave and come back but u have to make sure u get a new trv

Hey Jaffaral,

Isn't it easier to apply for PGWP though? I still have at least another year left for PGWP as i've only completed 2 years of my PGWP.
