Hi All,
I had applied to express entry program through CEC category in February 2016. At that time I also got OINP invitation in February 2016. I had submitted my OINP interest and now my OINP nomination is about to come.
Once my OINP nomination comes, I assume my score in Express entry automatically will increase with 600 more points.
Query:
I will be getting married in July 2017. If I accept Express entry invitation, most probably I will get PR before July 2017.
1. If I sponsor my wife post July 2017 , will it take 12-18 more months for her to join me at Canada?
2. Can I apply for dependent visa for my wife post July 2017 as I have valid VISA till November 2018? (Note that on July I will get PR)
3. Is there any way I can hold OINP nomination or express entry application till July 2017?
Appreciate your response.
Regards,
Vikas

Technicaly, you can keep rejecting your ITA until July. What is important to check how long that PNP will be valid (if 6 months or 1 year).
You can still add your future wife as dependand (common law partner). But in this case make sure that you still meet PNP criteria (important mainly for Human capital applicants).

Why not just get married now and add your wife to your application?

Thanks vensak. I had gone through http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pnp-nomination-certificate-valid-for-6-mon-but-mycic-ac-give-only-30-days-t392315.0.html
In this its being mentioned that i need to accept PNP nomination (valid for 6 mon) in only 30 days. What you mean to say that i should accept PNP nomination and keep on rejecting Express entry invitation for next 6 months? Question is if i reject express entry invitation , will express entry send me new invitation in next draws? I cannot get married now because marriage in India are based on various factors such as astrology etc.

Also i think that you can make marriage technically any time. It is like your choice to make it according to local customs. When it come nomination you have to accept it fast 30 days. But then you can keep rejecting ita. It is said if you see that you cannot get documents in time. You can also add your future wife as common partner and later on the timeline you will forward marriage certificate and change of your status. If you think about it even when you go with ita lets say december, you will be leaving like in summer autumn next year most likely.

maybe another option is to take nomination, get married.. and bring her on visit to canada while you apply for her PR from canada itself... i'm sure something along those lines can be worked out also...

Appreciate your comments vensak. I am planning to decline ITA. Hope after declining ITA I will not lost my OINP score. Meanwhile I will also check , for how much time i can keep declining ITA. Not sure after accepting OINP nomination, for how much time OINP score will be valid with my express entry profile. Please let me know if you have any pointers.

Thanks Stunner. I had heard that people having PR if applied for spouse VISA then 90 % of time it got rejected. While i am in PR queue, do you see any challenges for spouse VISA?

i've never heard of rejections before... might have happened but i have no prior knowledge.
define PR queue... meaning you applied for eAPR and waiting for documents to be processed and PP to be stamped ? if you are getting married during the period, then i think you will need to inform CIC and also increase the PoF to accomodate the spouse
