Pursuing a different study field - is it a rejection reason?

I have a BA in Japanese literature but I decided to shift my career pursue my passion for Arts, I got an acceptance letter from a designated Art school, Will my study permit be rejected because it doesn't relate my previous degree? Is there anyway to get it accepted?

You need to write a convincing SOP stating and justifying how this education fits in with you background and future plans.

Do you have a portfolio? Have you sold any of your work? Maybe a webpage? Showing that demonstrates you are vested in this course and didn't just take it to get into Canada.
