In June I applied for a TRV for the main purpose of going to sit the Pharmacy Board exam. So I picked the option..other... and stated that I was going to write the exams and then take a few days to sight see in Toronto.
The TRV was declined reasons being purpose of visit, my immigration status ( am on a work permit ) and family ties and travel history. I plan to reapply but am not sure on purpose of visit. Should I just say tourism?
I did submit the document from the Board confirming the exam.
Do you think it'll help if this time I enclose the exam material that I received after the TRV was denied...the Id, directions to the venue etc...to show that I indeed was expected to sit that exam?
Some one said that going to write the exams would indicate the intention to move to Canada, hence them refusing the visa. That's why I was wondering if I should just go as a tourist. The exam is written over 2 days.
