I am applying for OINP. I am showing my cousin as a tie to Ontario who is a PR but hasn't received his PR card yet. Since my deadline to apply is fast approaching, my question is can I show his COPR paper and more importantly his SIN paper as proof of his PR status? Is it legal for him to share his SIN and me to quote it in an application?

Since my deadline to apply is fast approaching, my question is can I show his COPR paper and more importantly his SIN paper as proof of his PR status? Is it legal for him to share his SIN and me to quote it in an application?
You do not need to show his SIN. You just need the bio-data page of his passport along with the signed COPR (after he has landed). This is a confirmation that he is a permanent resident and it is accepted.
