and the property shown to prove worth....after immigration if he sale property in his home country
is there any tax in quebec on this property sale in home country .
and is there any tax to keep property
and my second question is... can he sponsor his mother in law and
father in law just after 2 months of immgration and if yes what
will be the right way sponsor for pr or for supervisa
Thanks
After immigration, is he consider to be a resident for tax purposes? If so, his property sale at home is subject to capital gain tax. He would need to report this gain in his income tax return.
if someone has immigrated to Canada in the investor category, and they sell property in their home country after immigration, Quebec may impose taxes on the sale of the property if it is subject to Quebec income tax. It is best to consult with a tax professional who can advise on the specifics of your situation and provide guidance on any applicable tax obligations. Regarding your second question, there is no waiting period required to sponsor parents-in-law after an individual's immigration to Canada e.g apartments to rent in Canary Wharf. However, the eligibility to sponsor depends on meeting certain requirements, such as the sponsor's financial capacity and the parents-in-law's medical and criminal admissibility to Canada. If the parents-in-law meet the eligibility requirements, the sponsor may choose to apply for either permanent residence sponsorship or a super visa. Permanent residence sponsorship is for those who intend to live permanently in Canada, while a super visa allows parents and grandparents to visit their family in Canada for extended periods. It is advisable to consult with an immigration professional who can provide guidance on the appropriate sponsorship option for your situation.
