Proof that we will live in Canada??

Hi Guys,

Just going through the checklist (for the 1000th time) and I’ve just gotten a bit hung up on Part B Q2: Are you (the sponsor) a Canadian Citizen living outside of Canada?

We answered Yes, to which it then asks that we provide “proof” that we will live in Canada together once we receive my Permanent Residency.

We genuinely are going to move straight to Canada once it’s recieved, but how do we prove this? Neither of us have a cast iron job in Canada or own property etc. over there.

My partner has her entire family there, could we say that?
Could we also just wax poetic on how much we both want to live the rest of our lives in Canada?

Please help!

Include a detailed plan. Other proofs are emails/chats with family/friends going back awhile confirming the move, a letter from whoever you will be staying with when you arrive, contact with realtors/schools/employers, quotes from shipping companies, proof of transferring money/assets to Canada, putting up your house for sale if you own, notice to current employers etc.

I was able to get sponsorship approval with money saved in my Canadian bank account, letter from my mom saying we can stay with her while we find jobs, photocopies of all my Canadian cards I kept because I knew I would move back, a statement from both myself and PA. And we had emails and Facebook messenger messages with family and friends saying we would move back

In their letter of support, my partner's parents expressed their willingness to help us out with accommodations and living expenses when we first move back. My partner also kept his bank accounts/credit cards open and recently renewed his Canadian drivers licence (suggesting that he had not established long-term residency outside of Canada). Lastly, our circumstances sort of lent themselves to moving back - he's here on a visa that's due to expire, so his moving back to Canada makes logical and logistical sense.
