Hi Everyone

I am having my landing interview next week. But on the interview letter it says: During the interview the officer will ask for your original date of entry into Canada as well as your most recent entry date into Canada Please ensure you have noted these dates and bring proof to substantiate them.

I remember the original date of entry ( Back in 2006), but I don't have proof. The stamp and record was on my first passport which I renewed in 2008. I only have my previous passport ( 2008-2018) and current one ( 2018-Present) Do I need to get the copy of flight ticket?

Thanks for your time!

Hello lil_rainbow,

Im having a interview next month and I have a same problem as yours. I would like to know what did you do.
Could you please tell me about this? it would be very helpful for me:)

Thank you!

I received the same request. I’ve printed off my eticket from my first and most recent flights into Canada. I read somewhere that this would suffice.

I can proof most recent entry into Canada but my original entry into Canada was 2003. I don't have flight ticket copy and passport of that time...

The best you can do is explain. I don’t think it will be a problem though. Don’t worry, for all you know, they may not ask for evidence. :)

I've almost always entered Canada via a land border and have never gotten a stamp in my passport, so I was worried about having proof. Good to know other people have the same concerns! Hopefully that explanation is sufficient, but it would be nice if someone who had been through an inland landing interview would chime in

Hi! I had a inland landing interview and there was no problem without a proof
