Hi All,
My second cousin (Canadian Citizen) is inviting me to come to Canada. The checklist asks for proof of relationship.
1) Will a letter of invitation suffice and an explanation stating how we are related as well as possibly some pictures if deemed necessary?
2) The birth certificates wont really show a common grandparent, will it still be useful to provide them?
3) Also do we have to translate the birth certificates in English?

1. Invitation letter + maybe a few pictures and a couple of emails
2. If it doesn't establish a relationship between you and your cousin then don't include it. An explanation/relationship tree would help instead
3. Birth certificates won't be necessary in your case. Any other documents which are not in English must be translated into English by a certified translator
