PROOF OF MEANS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT

hi everyone. I am applying for PR under CEC and I am currently working here in Canada. One of the reqts on my document checklist is the proof of means of financial support. Do i really need to provide a letter from a bank showing my accounts or can I just attached an loe explaining that I am a CEC applicant?

btw, i saw this on the cic website which states that CEC applicants doesn't need to provide proof of funds:

Exactly right. You do not need proof of funds if you are applying under CEC. All you need is to upload a letter of explanation stating you do not need funds as you are applying under CEC for that section. Hope this helps
