Hi members,
Need your advice urgently please.

Proof of funds.

I have not submitted my documents yet after receiving ITA. My bank statement currently show funds that are much more than the required funds for a single applicant.

Now if I withdraw a huge amount of funds from my bank and then submit my bank statement with minimum funds required for single applicant, will that be considered by officer as misinterpretation or something? As i will withdraw a huge amount on the week i submit my documents for ITA.

If you are maintaining the minimum required amount, with a margin of approx 200 Canadian dollars, you should be fine. This extra 200 is needed keeping in mind the currency conversion fluctuations. The extra amount can be used by you. If you are still worried, just mention that in LOE. LOE must be utilised to clarify any possible doubts VIC might have.

Thank you, so If i withdraw and then submit bank statement, CIC should not be bothered for the reason of withdrawal until the minimum required balance is shown in the final bank statement?

Can they call your bank and see if you have withdrawn money from your account?

Such things are always debated and no one gives a clear answer. So i dont have the answer either. Just try to show your exact true situation. Don't take risks
