Proof of funds

Hi All,

I plan to apply for a visit visa to Canada with my family.

We're from Yemen and live in Saudi Arabia. We all have jobs here and my dad and big brother own a family business here in Saudi Arabia.

My question is

1- Can we apply as a family but show them separate bank accounts ? ( because I have my own separate job and so is my other brother)

2- How much each of us need as a proof of funds for a 2 weeks stay? What can be a reasonable amount of money excluding hotel and round trip tickets because we'll have that paid prior to the interview.

3- We prefer to have my big brother responsible financially for us, so he's the sponsor. If so, how much he needs to cover for 4 adults spending 2 weeks in Canada excluding hotle and tickets "like approximately" ?

1k CAD per week per person.

There is no such thing as "sponsor" in TRVs. Each person has to show they can afford the trip.
