I am planning to offer the apartment I own for lease by which I get some lumpsum money.
1) Would I be able to show this as proof of funds for getting Study permit and paying my education loan? Will CIC approve it?

2) With these funds, if I have already paid the education fees to the university and the accomodation cost, would CIC accept just that for Study permit?

Thanks!

1. yes, if you can prove that you would have regular income based on the lease for a year or so.
so you can send a photocopy of your leasing contract in English.

2. even though you paid tuition and accommodation already, you need to have enough fund to prove your finance (ex: how you would pay month allowance for your self, textbook and other miscellaneous things. )
